Every successful breeding program starts with great sheep. Our flock is built around carefully selected genetics chosen for performance, structure, maternal ability, and consistency. Explore the sheep that make our program possible.
The influence of a great ram can be seen throughout an entire flock. Our herd sires are selected for structural integrity, breed character, maternal strength in their female offspring, muscle expression and growth performance.

Sully is the cornerstone of our breeding program and serves as the primary herd sire at Trestle Creek Farms. From the moment he arrived, he impressed us with his exceptional length of body, structural correctness, and commanding presence. He consistently stamps his lambs with added frame and extension while maintaining the balance and functionality we strive for in our flock. Sully exhibits the bold masculinity expected of a herd sire, yet his calm, gentle, and tolerant disposition makes him a pleasure to work with. His combination of performance, soundness, and temperament embodies the type of Suffolk genetics we are committed to producing, and we look forward to seeing his influence continue through future generations of our flock.
The females are the heart of our flock. Every ewe retained in our breeding program earns her place through productivity, maternal instincts, longevity, and consistency. These are the sheep responsible for shaping future generations at Trestle Creek Farms.

2026 Grand Champion Ewe Lamb - 4H On Parade
2026 Reserve Champion Ewe Lamb - Irricana Beef & Multi Club
Cher is the kind of ewe every breeding program hopes to build around. She combines exceptional body length, depth of rib, and overall capacity with the structural soundness needed to remain productive for years to come. One of her greatest strengths is her remarkable consistency, she stamps her lambs with her own length, balance, and maternal qualities while allowing the strengths of each mating sire to further elevate the offspring.
Cher has become such an important female within our program that we are proud to co-own her with Wheatland Tanner Farms, allowing both operations to benefit from the exceptional genetics she continues to produce. Her first lamb crop is a testament to the consistency she passes on. We retained one daughter, Ivy, as a replacement female at Trestle Creek Farms, while Wheatland Tanner Farms selected her sister to remain in their flock. Having both ewe lambs retained as breeding females speaks to the quality, predictability, and long-term value Cher brings to our breeding programs.

2026 Grand Champion Market Lamb - Irricana Beef & Multi Club
Holly exemplifies the qualities we value in productive Suffolk females. A powerful, roomy ewe with exceptional body capacity, she consistently produces lambs that are deep-bodied, structurally correct, and uniform from shoulder to rump with wide, expressive loins. As a daughter of Boss, she has proven herself to be a reliable and consistent producer whose offspring excel in both performance and phenotype. Her first ram lamb went on to capture Grand Champion Market Lamb honors and produced one of the finest carcasses seen by the local processor that year, a testament to the quality she passes on. While we wish we had retained him as a herd sire, we were fortunate to keep his equally impressive twin sister, Willow, as a replacement, ensuring Holly's influence will continue within our flock for years to come.
Every generation is an opportunity to move our breeding program forward. The animals featured here represent the next chapter of Trestle Creek Farms. Young herd sire prospects and replacement females are selected for their outstanding structure, performance, pedigree, and genetic potential. While they are still early in their careers, each has demonstrated the qualities we value most and has earned a place in the future of our flock. We look forward to watching their influence grow for years to come.

Mike represents an exciting investment in the future of our breeding program. We selected him for his commanding presence, expressive muscle pattern, and especially his powerful hindquarter, traits we believe will complement our flock exceptionally well. Our goal is for Mike to add increased body capacity, improved rate of gain, and overall performance to future generations of Trestle Creek lambs, while maintaining the structural soundness and breed character we value.
As Mike matures, we look forward to seeing his genetics shape the future of our flock and continue building on the foundation of functional, productive Suffolk sheep at Trestle Creek Farms.

Willow is exceptionally feminine while maintaining impressive structural correctness, carrying her smoothness and consistency from shoulder through hip with a balanced, attractive profile. Beyond her physical qualities, she possesses one of the calmest and sweetest dispositions in the flock, making her a pleasure to work with every day. We believe Willow has all the ingredients to become a productive, influential brood ewe, and we eagerly anticipate her first lamb crop in 2027. We expect her offspring to combine structural integrity, eye appeal, and the show-ring presence that has become synonymous with our breeding program.

Ivy quickly established herself as one of the most exciting young females in our flock. She combines the structural correctness, body capacity, and maternal strength of her pedigree with exceptional style and presence. Her clean front end, strong level topline, and attractive profile immediately draw attention, while her depth of body and overall balance ensure she is as functional as she is eye-catching.
During her first 4-H season, Ivy demonstrated exactly what we strive to produce, earning Reserve Champion Ewe Lamb at the club level before capturing Grand Champion Ewe Lamb at the 2026 Calgary Region 4-H On Parade. As she enters her yearling season and prepares to be bred to PARKER 436J 114L "Sully" for her first lamb crop in the spring of 2027, we have high expectations for what this exciting young ewe will contribute to the future of Trestle Creek Farms.
